Get comfortable with being uncomfortable!! Isn’t that what life is all about?
Well… for me as a healthcare professional and professional makeup artist I am always stepping out of my comfort zone however this past Fall 2019 I was given an opportunity to be a part of Pittsburgh Fashion Week all in which was completely out of my comfort zone. I love fashion, makeup, beauty products, wellness and all the above but working in a super high pace, intense, large open area with several other talented artists was just a little scary at first. But then as I took a deep breath, I felt this rush… and remember feeling inspired to thrive to perform at my best.
Meeting the models, artist and designers was an amazing opportunity. Each person that I met was remarkably talented and had a drive like no other. Being able to just jump in and just get it done is really what it is all about. It is also about being able to work with others and remembering to always to shine. The most remarkable moment for me was when I walked into the runway and saw the finished product of all the models working that runway! Seeing that was breathtaking!
This experience made me stronger and more talented makeup artist! I could not be more grateful!
